Can Anyone Get Personal Loans?

o’clock and moneyI have a friend who has a credit score in the low 500’s and who filed for bankruptcy almost four years ago. She has a good job, a credit card that is not maxed out, and a checking account, yet she thought that she couldn’t get personal loans. The truth is that she can and so can you – in fact, almost every American can get their hands on at least a little cash by using one of several ways of obtaining a loan.

By far, the quickest and easiest way to get personal loans is by going to a payday advance loan company. These companies exist solely for the purpose of loaning out small sums of money to people who need it quickly and can pay it back quickly. If you are looking for a large, long-term loan, then this is not the place for you, but if you need $500 or less right now, then they can help you.

The next step up from a payday loan is a title loan. This is a loan against the title of your car. If you own a car, then you can get a title loan. These loans are for a larger amount than payday loans since they are using your car as collateral. You will also have longer to pay them off.

You can also get personal loans by going directly to your bank. If you own a home, go to the bank that holds your mortgage. They may be able to set you up with a temporary line of credit that is added to the mortgage on your home. This is an easy way to get a larger amount of money. However, if you have ever been late with a mortgage payment or find yourself struggling to pay off credit cards, they may not be able to help you.
